2007 was the hallmark of Guthrie’s career as she joined NBC as a correspondent and legal analyst. Due to her past experience, Guthrie was assigned the White House correspondent role. One year into working with NBC, Guthrie was assigned as the correspondent for the 2008 presidential elections, and she accompanied Sarah Palin’s convoy. Together with the team, they did a tremendous that saw her and her team win an Emmy Award.
